In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of skilled professionals, manage external vendors, manage technical projects, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems to support business goals.Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies both on-prem and cloud are required for this role.
The ideal candidate will have a long history of hands-on experience with servers, network and cloud infrastructure.
Leadership experience will be highly regarded and management experience is preferred but not essential.Key Responsibilities:Operations Management:Oversee the daily operations of IT and technical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.Develop and enforce operational processes, standards, and best practices.Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical professionals.Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.Technical Strategy:Collaborate with senior leadership to align technical operations with business goals.Develop long-term strategies for infrastructure improvement, technology upgrades, and resource optimization.Work Management:Be technical lead for technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business requirements.Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of technical tools and services.System Performance & Reliability:Monitor and maintain systems, networks, and platforms to ensure high availability and performance.Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Compliance & Security:Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity best practices.Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to system vulnerabilities or operational inefficiencies.Qualifications:Experience: 8+ years in IT/technical operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
