Central Adelaide Local Health Network Statewide – SA Pathology Salary: TGO0 - $26,059 - $62,731 p.a. + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice BenefitsSalary: TGO1 - $48,788 - $70,032 p.a. + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice BenefitsAdelaide CBDFull Time, Contracted Role up to 21 Nov 2025About the role Contribute to the effective and efficient operation of Anatomical Pathology by assisting in the preparation and processing of histological specimens, embedding, sectioning, Fluorescence in situ Hybridisation on paraffin embedded tissue, special staining of tissue and carrying out routine maintenance of equipment. Will be required to work on a rotational basis throughout the Main Laboratory, Cut-Up Laboratory and the Immunocytochemistry Laboratory.

A medical scientist must possess one of the following qualifications:
A degree at Australian Qualifications Framework level 7 awarded from a university in Australia with >70% of subjects relevant to the field of pathology of a 3-year degreeA degree at Australian Qualifications Framework level 7 with subjects relevant to the field of pathology awarded by an overseas tertiary institution if the qualification is assessed as equivalent to a degree accredited by the Australian Institute of Medical ScientistsAn associate qualification conferred by the Australian Institute of Medical Technologists before 1 December 1973.Diversity and inclusion: Statewide supports and fosters a culture in which employees feel they belong and feel safe at work.
