Salary: Level 1.3, $65,958 - Level 1.4, $68,636 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022) + 15.3% commuted allowance (PSCA 2022)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 Western Australian College of Agriculture – Narrogin (WACOA – Narrogin) is seeking a Technical Officer – Agricultural Instruction – General Farm to join their friendly team.
The successful applicant will be required to train students in the competencies of agricultural instruction leading to the completion of Certificate II and Certificate III in Agriculture.
ResponsibilitiesThe Technical Officer – Agricultural Instruction – General Farm is directly involved in the day-to-day operation of the farm enterprises and the implementation of the farm development plan.The successful applicant will maintain enterprises on the farm which may include livestock management, cropping, horticulture, mechanics and building maintenance.Skills related to sheep stud management would also be advantageous but not essential.Minimum RequirementsBe an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start.Consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.Application InstructionsApply online in two easy steps:
