Job Responsibilities:Support the Project Planning & Delivery team in delivering high-quality, durable infrastructure.Ensure the application of quality, safety and environmental management in delivery of infrastructure.Facilitate efficient infrastructure delivery through contract management and construction oversight.COULD THIS BE YOU? Council is seeking a highly motivated, experienced civil construction professional with good working knowledge of quality, safety and environmental requirements in infrastructure delivery.
Experienced in construction of transport infrastructure or equivalent.
The Technical Officer (Projects) is responsible for: Provision of specialist technical support in relation to inspection, monitoring, programming, and quality control of all areas of project delivery including buildings and civil works;Acting as the divisional representative onsite for projects, when requested by the Project Manager;Ensuring projects are being delivered within safety, environmental, quality, time, cost and service level objectives;Co-ordination and participation in the preparation of clear and comprehensive project plans, specifications, tenders, contracts and other documentation necessary for delivery of projects;Preparation of contract documentation, supervision and administration of infrastructure contracts.TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED: Certificate IV in Civil Construction, 7-10 years experience onsite in building or civil works, or similarOH&S General Induction Certificate for Construction Work in NSWNSW Drivers LicenceINTERESTED?

Salary range: Grade 16 - $90,795.93 - $98,247.03 per annum plus superannuation and leaseback vehicle for a 35 hour work week.
