Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and Spatial Data Officer Full-time Temporary Details: Within the Infrastructure Planning unit, the Asset and Data Integration (ADI) team support Roads ACT and City Presentation in the management of Canberra's public places and infrastructure.
This includes asset, data and program management, geospatial planning and analysis, and providing business intelligence to support future strategies, policies and investment programs.
ADI are seeking an experienced Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and Spatial Data Officer to fill a temporary vacancy between 25 November 2024 and 14 February 2025.
This position is responsible for assessing Traffic Control Device (TCD) and Works as Executed (WAE) Auto CAD drawing submissions for compliance against the relevant TCCS drafting standards and recording the submissions in the TCCS Common Data Environment.
This position is also the primary contact for the TCD Auto CAD Grid inventory database and responsible for ensuring the TCD Grid is current, complete and accurate.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Technical skills and knowledge relevant to the capture, compilation and quality assurance of infrastructure and/or landscape asset information.
Technical skills in the use of Auto CAD, ESRI Arc GIS Pro and Safe Software's FME.
Understanding of document and records management principles.
Sound liaison and communication skills and the capacity to communicate with influence and provide authoritative technical advice.
Ability to learn quickly and work flexibly in a small team environment with demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills and the ability to consistently produce high quality work.
