About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Microbiology Department. This role is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of Microbiology services for St Vincent's Hospital campus, SydPath collection centers and other major clients.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia
2. Have appropriate tertiary qualifications in a scientific or technical field relevant to the practice of pathology
3. Previous experience in Microbiology
4. Agreement to be a shift worker and be available to work as rostered to ensure the efficient functioning of the unit
5. Perform all allocated tasks accurately and in a timely manner and perform other duties as required
6. Communicate effectively and work as an effective team member
