You will manage the delivery, design, construction, and maintenance of water supply and sewerage infrastructure projects from beginning to completion, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What your day will look like: Preparation of project and/or work specifications for the implementation by internal or external service providers.
Supervise the execution and performance of contracts and perform inspections of works being undertaken by the Infrastructure Delivery Teams and/or Contractors as required.
Identify and make recommendations to the Manager Infrastructure Delivery.
Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Investigate operational issues and prepare reports recommending appropriate resolutions.
What you'll need for success: Demonstrated understanding of financial management including planning, budgeting & administration.
Experience and high level of understanding of project management principles and practices.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, and deliver reports and projects on time.
Delivery and design and/or construction/maintenance of water supply and sewerage infrastructure.
Highly developed communication skills, specifically: Written: policies, guidelines and reports; Interpersonal: consult, partner, negotiate and interact effectively at all levels; People management: lead, motivate, coach and work as an active team participant.
Qualifications/Licences: Degree (AQF 7 or above) in Engineering and/or equivalent experience in construction and/or maintenance of water and sewerage infrastructure; or Trade Qualifications (AQF Level 3 or above) in Water Industry Operations, Plumbing, Civil Construction and significant experience.
