Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Officer to join our Gold Coast pathology team.
Key Responsibilities: Data Entry Specimen reception Analysis of specimens Test reporting and validation where required Reporting urgent and abnormal results to relevant clinicians Participating in routine testing in Biochemistry, Haematology and Stat Microbiology disciplines Quality Assurance: Maintain meticulous records of laboratory procedures and ensure adherence to all laboratory safety and quality standards. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Science/ Biomedical Science, or Diploma in Pathology testing or a related field. Certificate III in Pathology Collection highly desirable Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required.
