Technical Officer (Digital Media)Job no: 518834 Work type: part time, full time Location: Crawley Categories: Technical/Laboratory support About the opportunity Provide hands-on technical support and training for students in teaching environments and the equipment loans office, in the discipline field of Creative Digital Media Production.Collaborate with academics and students in a dynamic learning environment.Train staff and students in the use of specialist equipment (video and audio production).Provide a high level of customer service to the equipment loans office and manage a large number of assets and users in an online booking system.Maintain and service digital media equipment and assist with the procurement of consumables and small equipment to support teaching outcomes.About you Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in technical support.Relevant experience working in or with the Digital Media Industry, including an interest in training others.Experience with digital video and recording equipment, including cinema cameras, audio gear, lighting and recording studios.Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Audition, After Effects; and Microsoft Office.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines.Special Requirements: Able to fit the physical requirements of the position.How to applyPlease apply online via the Apply Now button.
