About the Role
Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of Simulated Learning? Flinders University is seeking a dynamic Technical Officer to support our Academic team and help shape the future of Paramedicine and Medicine!
The successful candidate will assist in developing teaching materials, coordinating equipment, and managing the setup and dismantling of clinical skills and simulation sessions. Your role will ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for our Paramedicine and Medicine programs. About You
To be successful in this role you will exhibit:
Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training
Demonstrated experience with medical technical equipment, including assembly, testing and repairing
Previous experience with high fidelity manikins
Current knowledge of Work Health Safety (WHS) Legislation, including risk management
Well-developed computer skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
Demonstrated experience in health education settings.

Prescribed Conditions for Employment
A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
Northern Territory Government legislation (the Care and Protection of Children Act 2007) now requires all individuals in child related employment or whose duties involve, or are likely to involve, contact with a child, to hold a valid 'Working with Children Clearance' (Ochre Card).
Staff working in a health care setting are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID in line with the NT Health policy.
