All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.The Role:In accordance with conventional practices, methods and standards, the Technical Officer provides support to pathologists and scientists for the efficient operation of the Pathology Department.The Technical Officer ensures prescribed procedures and techniques are applied when performing routine and specialised tests.Under general guidance from laboratory supervisors, Technical Officers perform technical work in one or more sections of the Pathology Department.Details of appointment:Permanent, part time, shift worker position, working up to 61 hours per fortnight, commencing from 27 January 2025.*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum (Pro rata).
