This is an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager to join our team! You'll be laser focused on "growth with purpose" to recommend ways Remondis can improve market share and profitability nationally. In this role you'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders across a huge variety of projects with the ongoing support and guidance of the National Technical Manager.
Key Responsibilities Ensure all projects achieve Remondis corporate objectives in relation to safety, financial performance and overarching objectives Develop detailed project delivery plans outlining key milestones, project timelines and key tasks for project development Maintain thorough documentation throughout the life of each project Liaise with internal and external clients Assist in M&A's and identify areas where Remondis can improve market share and profitability Operational improvements for various sites nationally Tender estimation and preparation Assist in technical pre-selection, construction and licensing projects Assist in lobbying councils, associations and government agencies Preparation of business papers, management reports, technical updates and technical reviews Reasons you'll stay Autonomy: You'll have the empowerment you need to be successful and the independence and autonomy to thrive.

Who you are Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or similar Previous experience in a similar role as a Chemical Engineer, Process Engineer, or Project Manager You thrive in a role with end-to-end ownership of projects with variety, accountability, and the chance to see projects through to completion and delivery Demonstrated experience and understanding of the waste industry, specifically hazardous waste, liquid waste, industrial waste Excellent communicator with a natural desire to problem solve and innovate with a growth mindset Strong business acumen and experience in financial reporting Who we are
