About the role
As a Technical Maintenance Fitter at BJP Laboratories Pty Ltd in Yatala, Queensland, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on the company's industrial machinery and equipment. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the plant equipment to support the organisation's wider objectives.
What you'll be doing Diagnose, maintain and repair a range of technical equipment including a wide variety of manufacturing equipment like encapsulations machines, tablet presses, sachet machines, blister machines, bottle filling production lines and many more.Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance activities to keep equipment running at optimal performanceSource and order necessary parts and tools to complete maintenance and repair workMaintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activitiesCollaborate with the operations team to identify and resolve equipment issuesAdhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulationsWhat we're looking for Formal qualifications in mechanical engineering or a relevant tradeSubstantial experience as a maintenance fitter in a manufacturing environment or similar industrial.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and rectify equipment issuesExcellent attention to detail and ability to maintain detailed maintenance recordsGood communication skills to collaborate effectively with the operations teamCommitment to working safely and following all relevant regulationsWhat we offer
