What you'll do As the Machine Operator/ Supervisor or as a Technical Line Leader, you will be committed to innovation, efficiency, and creating a positive impact.
You will play a crucial role in essential production process, ensuring excellence in quality and problem solving as well as leading by example for your team.
Reporting to the operations Manager, you will lead a team of 2 reports across day shift alongside the below responsibilities ·Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures and guidelines.
·Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards.
·Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment as they arise.
·Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal operation.
·Implement efficiency improvements through process optimization and workflow adjustments.
·Train and mentor machine operators on efficient operation techniques and best practices.
·Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
·Collaborate with the management team to analyse production metrics and identify areas for improvement.
·Stand-alone sole responsibility ·Maintain accurate production records and reports.
What you'll need ·Proven experience as a hands on technical line leader or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
·Demonstratable technical expertise in operating and troubleshooting machinery and equipment.
·Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
·Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
·Leadership and teamwork skills to effectively supervise and support a team.
·Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
