Responsibilities: Guide a team through technical issues and challenges Continuously learn and develop yourself and others helping to meet team technical goals Support agile team transformation and encourage teams to adopt agile values Design and develop efficient, testable, and maintainable solutions Ensure solutions meet customer and business needs Continuously manage and reduce technical debt Support and advocate secure coding practices Support and advocate engineering best practices Advocate and adopt modern architectural solutions where appropriate, such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless Support the uptime and availability of solutions in production Who you are: 7+ years professional experience in a senior software engineering role Demonstrated understanding of Agile principles and processes Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles and practices Commercially minded with the ability to hit the ground running, and to build and maintain constructive working relationships at all levels Excellent adaptive team leadership capabilities including the ability to foster productive team dynamics, engage and enable teams and coach for performance Strong Technical Expertise: The right candidate should have strong cloud development experience with Serverless and/or containers. They need to have successfully delivered projects in this space, ideally using modern web development frameworks like React (or similar JSX component-based libraries). Experience in Relevant Domains: They should be familiar with eCommerce, checkout, and order fulfillment processes. Experience with observability platforms and data-driven development practices will also be important. Leadership & Mentorship: The individual must be a good mentor, able to guide team members, collaborate with Agile Delivery Leads (ADL), Business Analysts (BA), and UX teams, and work closely with architects to ensure best practices are followed.
