Technical Lead opportunity within Swinburne University Full time, fixed term, (18 month) position at our Hawthorn campus Attractive salary and benefits with flexible working options About the Role  We are looking for a Technical Lead, Finance Modernisation.
Working closely with the Digital Solution Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the corporate application portfolio.
This position is to ensure the successful implementation of the Finance Modernisation Program by delivering the necessary technology solutions that align with Swinburne's Digital IT strategy.
This role will be effectively engaging various IT departments at the appropriate stages of the project to drive positive business and technological outcomes.
The objective is to facilitate the adoption of a modern and tailored Finance ERP system.
Collaboration with the Digital Solution Manager, Finance Modernisation Business Lead, and Project Director is essential to ensure a comprehensive solution that encompasses all functions of the Finance ERP being replaced.
You will possess the ability to solve complex problems, operate within a professional project management framework, and unite stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Strong collaboration, coordination, and communication skills are vital for managing and engaging team members, including Subject Matter Experts, IT professionals, Enterprise Project Management Office professionals, finance teams, and external vendors.
About You   To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:  •    A broad understanding and appreciation of the various functions of IT including architecture, security, infrastructure, integration, applications development, application support and maintenance •    Extensive and broad Program + Project Management experience across all areas of organistional change including significant Transformation projects •    Experience in a large-scale project environment •    Expertise in project management approaches, tools (including proficiency in MS Project) and phases of the project lifecycle •    An understanding of Finance and ERP Platforms Further information about this role can be found in the attached position description.
