This role has responsibility for a range of electrical maintenance and installation activities associated with the operations of a fast-paced manufacturing facility.Your responsibilities will include:Provide electrical system, equipment and reticulation knowledge, support and expertise to the plant and other employeesMonitor and report on electrical equipment downtimeEnsure immediate reaction to breakdowns and urgent workMonitor and address crew performanceIdentify and propose equipment improvement opportunitiesEnsure all requested and scheduled electrical tasks are investigated, planned, executed, completed and closed out on time and in budgetLiaise with the Maintenance Leads and Maintenance Planner for the generation and issue of work orders, work plans, technical information, inspection reports, and other information relating to work required to be performed on electrical equipment.Ensure all electrical documentation and schematics are securely retained, updated and maintained as requiredProvide information for Engineering Manager reportingProgram and ensure all statutory requirements are met in relation to:Test and TaggingRCD testing.Emergency lights testing.Switchboard Rescue Equipment checks.Electrical Testing Equipment testing.Safety gloves testing.Plan, schedule and co-ordinate all shutdown electrical tasks in conjunction with Maintenance Planner and other LeadsCommunicate with maintenance team members, supervisors and production staff on breakdowns and outstanding workProvide electrical process control and PLC programming knowledge, support, and expertise to the plantIn conjunction with the Engineering Manager, prepare and submit minor capital applications required to improve the electrical assetsManage allocated projects from implementation to completionAbout you:Advanced electrical qualificationsPost trade qualifications in supervision or managementExperience in the supervision and maintenance in a fast-moving food manufacturing environmentA thorough understanding of maintenance work management practicesExperience gained from a large heavy industrial organisationProven ability to lead, manage and motivate staffHighly developed communication and interpersonal skillsWhy work for Primo?Reward & Recognition programAccess to novated leasing optionsHealth insurance and retail discountsOngoing training and career development opportunities
