The Insurance for NSW Scheme provides a range of insurance cover and services for participating Government ?agencies such as NSW Police, Fire & Rescue NSW and Department of Health. This will be full-time permanent position based in the Tweed office, with flexibility to work from home. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Providing technical support to claims teams about the claims management process in line with the applicable legislation Reviewing and providing feedback about current claims management practices and procedures ensuring emerging trends are identified and managed Develop Injury Management Plans and implement strategies including leveraging relevant resources required in managing claim scenarios Provide specialist Injury Management coaching and one on one support to team members regarding claims management strategy and treatment approvals In conjunction with the Team Leader identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders ABOUT YOU Strong technical experience within the workers compensation scheme Experience in the Workers Compensation industry managing claims within all or most claims management segments Experience in managing relationships and competing stakeholder priorities Experience in coaching and supporting others Understanding of the Workers Compensation Act 1987 (NSW), the Workplace Injury Management & Workers Compensation Act 1998 (NSW), Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Bill 2012, and the associated regulations and guidelines WHAT WE OFFER We stand together as equals.
