Central Adelaide Local Health Network Adelaide SA, 5000 Salary: TGO1 - $48,067 - $68,997 p.a. + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits Full Time, Contracted Role up to 12 months About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Officer to join our Intensive Care Research team, supporting collaborative studies aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes in critically ill patients. Working closely with the Director of Research, Research Fellow, and Clinical Research Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in groundbreaking research that bridges the fields of intensive care, gastroenterology, and endocrinology. Your work will contribute to research that has a real impact on patient care, making this a unique opportunity to be part of meaningful, transformative healthcare advancements.
As a valued member of the Intensive Care Unit's research team within Critical Care & Perioperative Services, you will collaborate with a passionate, multidisciplinary team to uphold high standards of research and clinical collaboration. This role will occasionally involve supporting fellow research officers within the unit, allowing for diverse experience across various studies and projects. About You: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated professional to join our research team. To thrive in this role, you will bring a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for impactful research. Key requirements include:
Educational Background: Undergraduate Science degree (BSc or BHSc). Research Skills: Proven ability to conduct hypothesis-driven research independently, with strong data acquisition and analysis skills and meticulous attention to detail. Personal Attributes: Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritising multiple tasks while adhering to ethical and clinical guidelines for working with critically ill patients. Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills with the ability to relate tactfully to a diverse range of stakeholders, including hospital staff, patients, families, and volunteers.
