My client is seeking an experienced Technical Facilities Manager. The role seeks an individual who comes from a strong FM background and will be required to oversee all the facilities and maintenance. This includes the financial planning, asset management, work health safety, project management and continuous improvement related to the safe and efficient operation of the facility. As the Technical Facilities Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the Industrial Asset including maintenance and overall facility/operational management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and deliver both planned and unplanned facilities maintenance services.Communicate and implement safety management principles and objectives.Foster safety improvements through regular team and contractor interactions.Monitor and enforce safety management systems for team adherence.Proactively manage incident investigations and ensure timely resolution.Engage with managers and teams to set and align customer expectations.Take personal ownership of safety through risk-based decision-making.Champion client vision, values, and operational priorities.Build trust and maintain respectful, open communication across all levels.Define tasks, allocate resources, and measure progress effectively.Set clear, measurable goals for team members and drive commitment to KPIs.Provide regular team briefings, one-on-one coaching, and development plans to enhance performance and elevate team standards.Requirements: FM / Operations experience within Industrial/Commercial Asset (Highly Desirable)Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and communicate effectively.A valid driver's license is required.Willingness to travel.Experience conducting facility inspections.Basic understanding of the financial impact of building issues (expense and capital planning).Strong technical knowledge of building systems and facilities management processes.Excellent contractor and relationship management skills.Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in verbal and written communication, with strong presentation skills.Proven track record of exceptional customer service, both internal and external.Proficient in Excel, with the ability to analyze data.Experience using software applications effectively.Extra Details: Pay: $50 P/H - $60 P/H (inclusive of Super)3-6+ month Temp RoleLocation: Rockhampton QLDImmediate Start!!Must be immediately availableStrictly onsiteStandard Working Hours: Monday to FridayWhen applying please provide:
