We are seeking a Technical Expert to join our dynamic team, where you will be accountable for providing end-to-end support for our Triple Zero emergency services and Life-Threatening Call Trace Applications. What You'll Do: As a Technical Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our Triple Zero and Life-Threatening Call Trace services deliver exceptional connectivity across Australia. This is a 24/7 role with a rotating roster, giving you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while engaging in high-impact work. Your expertise will directly contribute to Telstra's mission of creating a brilliant, connected future for everyone.
Key responsibilities: Providing dedicated E2E operational support 24/7 that includes alarm monitoring, detection, response, and prompt action when Triple Zero issues ariseProviding a single point of Telstra internal contact for the Triple Zero Answer Points (i.e., call centres), TUSOPA contract team, Regulatory Affairs and Telstra senior management for immediate investigation of Triple Zero incidentsOrganisational responsibility for the generation, coordination, and internal reporting of Welfare Check Call ListsManage the activation of the Triple Zero Disruption Protocol as and when requiredKey internal Telstra contact point for Extreme Event call management strategiesProvide real-time Customer support and operational assistance for the Life-threatening Call Trace ApplicationEssential Experience: Availability to work in a rotating shift roster 24/7A passion for Emergency Services and helping the wider communityProven Incident Management experienceUnderstanding of the Triple Zero ecosystemStrong networking experience in a large-scale Service Provider operations centreExcellent working knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, and switchingOur perks & benefits: Work-life integration - we understand life happens when you're busy making other plans, so we offer flexibility around where and when you work16 weeks paid parental leave for primary and secondary carersProfessional development programAn epic (free) Telstra mobile phone planLaptop/Device allowance renewed every 2 yearsPurchased Annual Leave schemeDiscounted Telstra products and servicesIf this opportunity sounds like a perfect fit for you, we'd encourage you to apply!
