As a Technical Director - Power Systems (APAC), you will be a key member of the Power & Energy Transition Practice in the APAC region. The position will suit someone with a strong technical background in power system studies who desires to lead from the front in a consultancy environment.

What you'll doThe role responsibilities include:
Leading a team of dedicated engineers and working with them to develop their careers.Work collaboratively with key personnel within the wider Worley Group on existing projects and new business opportunities.Lead the team in undertaking network studies in the region using industry tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD and DigSILENT Powerfactory.Work closely with our APAC Power & Energy Transition Lead and Regional SME's on strategy, sales and business development.Continue the growth of the Network Studies team in the APAC region.Work with the team to provide innovative solutions to our clients with a focus on Energy Transition.Be part of a global network of SME's.What you'll haveMinimum qualifications include:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.Strong power systems analysis and modelling skills in a consulting environment.Knowledge of industry standard software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, DigSILENT Powerfactory.Team leadership and management experience.Plan and manage assignments - proposals, plan, time, cost, quality, outcomes etc.Report writing for clients that clearly articulates findings, progress and recommendations.Strong communication and organisational skills.Passion for the energy transition.Proven relationship building skills and a strong knowledge of the NEM & SWIS Grids, AEMO and NER.Why you should applyFlexible working arrangements.Exposure to a variety of unique and challenging projects.Exposure to a variety of clients, sectors and technologies.Internal growth opportunities.Competitive remuneration & employee benefits.Moving forward togetherWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
