Key Responsibilities: Serve as the technical leader for transmission line engineering projects, guiding the team in developing high-quality design solutions for projects ranging from 66k V to 500k V. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their project briefs and technical requirements, ensuring their expectations are met. Proactively implement innovative design solutions and best practices to enhance project outcomes. Mentor and support the wider transmission design team, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing. Utilize significant experience in developing transmission line designs for high-voltage electricity networks to deliver robust engineering solutions. Work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure collaborative project delivery with local and international teams. Manage client expectations while building and maintaining strong relationships. Focus on delivering successful project outcomes, leveraging attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Engage in networking activities to help drive and grow the transmission line portfolio, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Qualifications: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the power transmission and distribution industry. Proven expertise in transmission line engineering, with a strong emphasis on high-voltage electricity networks. Consultancy experience is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with engineers and designers. Strong organizational skills with a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
