The world of Technical Consulting can be a rollercoaster for many leaders.

You're fully utilized and killing all KPI's one month and scrambling the next to find billable work for your people (and yourself).

They usually have their swim lanes (market fit) clearly defined, depth in technical specialization, and employ the trusted advisors playbook when it comes to client service.

While each state branch may have its unique flavor, they all prioritize their most important asset - their people.

A diverse client portfolio of government, energy, retail, and more awaits.

Technology specialization includes Microsoft (especially Dynamics), Salesforce, Cloud/Data, and some broader Architecture action.

They already have exposure to some major state projects related to the Brisbane Olympics and the QLD Energy Plan.

Position: Technical Director

As Technical Director and a member of the QLD SLT, you'll have a lens over all technical development work, leading two core technology practices (MS and Salesforce) and influencing the future service offerings (including AI/Data/Cloud).

Core Areas of Focus: Practice: Developing client opportunities; land and expand, RFQ's, and business networking.People: Technical leadership (wider team of ~20 with 2 direct reports) and working as part of the SLT.Billable: Solution Architecture / Strategy work. Technical Experience Required: Technology ConsultingSolution Architecture (TOGAF)SDLCMicrosoft ecosystem (Dynamics, Azure)SalesforceCloud/Data
This is very much a startup-style environment, and as such, there will be opportunities for more senior leadership opportunities down the track.
Some of the founding team have overseen corporate exits in the past, and thus this is not a place where you can expect to stand still.
