Future energyWater infrastructureLinear infrastructureMining (including closure planning)Defence operationsWorking with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Interpreting, developing and advising clients on International, National and State/Territory environmental legislation and policy, including provision of advice and direction regarding relevant regulatory frameworks and project approval pathways.Undertaking environmental impact assessments, construction environmental management, operational phase monitoring, and development of offsets and approvals strategies.Work within multi-disciplinary project teams, managing and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.Maintaining relationships with clients and regulatory agencies and leading the delivery of proposals and technical reports for clients.Assisting in mentoring and training of junior staff.What you will bring to the team?Bachelor's degree in science, Environmental Science or similar.Minimum of 10 years professional experience in environmental impact assessments, with at least 2 years in a similar role at the Senior/Technical Director level.Demonstrated track record in the planning, coordination and delivery of effective environmental assessment, planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.Knowledge of NT and Commonwealth regulatory frameworks and policy.Excellent technical writing, communication and project management skills.The ability to mentor, grow and develop junior team members to continue the successful growth of the team.Proven business development, networking and client relationship management skills.Applications from candidates looking for either full-time or part-time opportunities would be considered.
