About the role:As a Technical Director, you will work closely with the development team to create high-quality games. Your responsibilities will include:
Giving direction and maintaining quality of all technical aspects of the game studio.Managing and providing mentorship to all engineering and IT staff.Collaborating with the recruitment team, conducting interviews and occasionally joining on trips to build a world-class engineering team.Working directly with studio directors and game team leads.Performing technical due diligence for clients, project development, and pitches.Taking part in client hospitality during on-site visits.Mentoring through regular one-to-ones and appraisals for team members.RequirementsAt least 10 years working in the games industry.Experience working on AAA titles.Familiarity with a breadth of technologies from low-level programming through to cloud services.Experience on console/PC platforms required.Experience working in a co-dev environment desirable.Experience working in Unreal required.
