About the Role
The System Integration (SI) Technical Delivery Lead position has been created in the Solution Delivery team within the Technology Planning and Delivery (TPD) branch in response to the Agency transitioning the SI function from a key external delivery partner.
The role of the Technical Delivery Lead is to deliver technical strategy and manage technical implementation to maintain, enhance and protect the Agency National Infrastructure systems across the applications and cloud environments.
The Technical Delivery Lead will oversee and coordinate a full technical, end to end delivery capability in a multivendor environment to ensure an integrated approach to solution delivery. This will include but is not limited to:
Overseeing solution requirements, systems design, development (with vendors), system integration, testing and management of interdependencies between vendors and solutions for all projects in the technology delivery roadmap. Integrate and work with the SMEs and stakeholders in the Agency (product, architecture, security, ITS, operations, legislative, conformance, clinical) and external partners. Oversee and coordinate the DevOps/DevSecOps practice for solution delivery. Ensure the business and technical strategy is aligned with solution strategy, planning and delivery across multiple functions in a high-paced matrixed organisation by fostering a collaborative approach. Ensure the solution strategy is aligned with vendor contracts and commercial strategy, as well as all technical drivers across the Agency systems. Align and support the technology planning team with the technical input and detailed solution delivery activities to facilitate the effective planning of the technology delivery roadmap. Align & support the solution delivery team with architecture, design, system integrations and testing. Support the operations SIAM team to implement new features, address issues and address ops problems.
The Technical Delivery Lead is therefore required to have strong technical skills/understanding with experience in delivery of large mission critical systems, various cloud environments and large databases and applications like Oracle.
What You'll Bring 10+ years experience working in the delivery of software delivery solutions. Strong technical skills/understanding with experience in delivery of large mission critical systems, various cloud environments and large databases and applications like Oracle. Skills in software engineering design, development, testing, working with/managing multiple 3rd parties and delivery into the operational environment. Experience in standard development, delivery and operational processes like SDLC, COBIT, Prince2, ISO9001, ITSM, SIAM or similar. Experience in Healthcare Data Repository (HDR), Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and Exadata would be valuable. Degree in IT, Engineering or related field is desirable. Ability to obtain and maintain national police check. Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility. Ability to obtain and maintain a Neg Vet 1 security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency. Additional Information

Salary: This role offers between $116,075 - $132,386 plus 15.4% superannuation depending on skills and experience.
