The Data Platforms Crew is responsible for developing strategic data layers, transitioning from on-premises services to the cloud, and centralizing data sources on one platform.
The role of Technical Data Analyst involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to build a world-class data platform, enabling data science, AI, and business insights across the group.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
Design solutions for data platforms using knowledge in data pipelines, architecture, and job orchestration.
Enhance platform capability to record metadata, track data lineage, and monitor job performance.
Elicit requirements from key stakeholders, including senior management, and translate them into functional designs.
Support and participate in both functional and non-functional testing.

Experience with data design, flows, data layers, and data semantics.
Confidence in working with large data sets from various sources.

Proficiency in gathering requirements and contributing to solution design and data modeling.
SQL skills You would benefit from having:
Knowledge of messaging platforms like Kafka.
Exposure to Teradata Group Data Warehouse, Cloudera Hadoop, Datastage, and other ETL frameworks.
Exposure to cloud-based data warehousing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
The role offers flexibility in work locations with the requirement to spend at least half of each month in office.
