Join our Enterprise Data Architecture team as a Technical Data Analyst, with a focus on data modeling. The Enterprise Data Architecture team is responsible for defining data architecture strategy, standards, frameworks & promoting data modeling as an asset to enable both defensive and offensive use of data to maximize value. This role will work in the EDA team to collaborate with stakeholders across Macquarie to promote data modeling & help analyze requirements, legacy processes, and data documentation to help resolve complex enterprise data challenges.

What role will you play?As a technical data analyst specializing in data modeling, you will help service the data modeling community, working closely with a team of enterprise data modelers and data architects. You will support the rollout of a new data modeling tool by driving data modeling working groups and will undertake business analysis work associated with Enterprise data models to feed requirements back to the enterprise data architect.
What you offer4+ years of experience in a technical data or business analytics role, supporting activity from requirements gathering to design and development in data projects.Experience with data modeling and tools like ERWIN & working knowledge of aspects of data modeling will be highly desirable.Exposure to and a working knowledge of data architecture principles, including data modeling is highly desirable.Familiarity with the entire data project lifecycle, AWS data stack, SQL & reporting tools like Power BI, Agile methodology, and tools like JIRA and Confluence.Exposure to data management concepts and data governance tools like Collibra is an added advantage.A customer-focused approach, strong stakeholder management abilities & learning mindset to grow into the role is a must-have.About Corporate Operations GroupIn our Corporate Operations Group, you will work at the heart of Macquarie.
