The Technical Coordination Lead is a role within the Digital & Business Solutions (DBS) Department and facilitates several key functions within DBS that enable the seamless delivery of a high-quality service to end users, and to ensure service support and delivery practices and processes are in place to meet business needs. The role will focus on driving consistency in our ways of working and software delivery practices across DBS. This position is a stakeholder facing role that requires managing the development of deliverables to meet business needs.
Establish and facilitate ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospective.Guide and coach the team on principles and practices to encourage self-managing teams.Communicate work status, risks and issues to the relevant stakeholders.Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.Provide additional support to the team as required. This could include writing user stories and clarifying requirements with stakeholders and other teams.Ensure the team regularly updates their own Story Card status and iteration.Manage area paths, backlogs and team configuration.This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in our office in Fortitude Valley.
What's required to succeed: 5+ years' experience in ICT2+ years in a planning/coordination or business analyst type role2+ years' experience working in an Agile software development process in any capacity2+ years' experience with Agile planning/work tracking and development tools e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub or Jira, ConfluenceTertiary qualification in ICT or Business, or equivalent working experience (ie. 6+ years)Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent customer facing/customer service skills.Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Able to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently.Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.Embracing collaboration and innovation, we work as one to lead the change veterans need.
