Are you a skilled licensed builder or experienced carpenter with over 10 years in the residential or insurance building industry? UBS is looking for a Technical Construction Manager to lead domestic insurance projects across Metro Melbourne.

In this key role, you'll be a leader within UBS, guiding our project management team and overseeing each phase of operations.
This is a hands-on position where you can leverage your technical skills and in-depth understanding of building codes and legislation to ensure every project meets KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).

What We're Looking For A licensed builder or experienced carpenter with 10+ years in residential or insurance building.Proven leadership skills with a hands-on approach to mentor and coach a team of Project Managers.Minimum of Certificate IV in Building and Construction.Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the Project Management team, fostering a collaborative and results-focused culture.Ensure safety compliance, WHS regulations and Australian Standards, conducting regular site audits.Oversee the scheduling of internal trades to improve project schedules.Ensure projects meet quality standards, stay within budget, and finish on schedule.Resolve complaints and act as the primary escalation point, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.Build and maintain strong connections with insurers, trades, and other key partners.Manage project budgets, handle variations, and deliver accurate reporting.Requirements Driver LicenceWhite CardCurrent National Police CheckWorking with Children CheckOur Core Values At UBS we:
