The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our team of project managers by providing expert technical construction knowledge.
This includes guiding project standards, troubleshooting complex construction issues, and ensuring that building practices align with our quality and compliance requirements.
Their expertise will be critical in enhancing project efficiency and maintaining high standards throughout the construction phases.
What We're Looking For A licensed builder or experienced carpenter with 10+ years in residential or insurance building.
Proven leadership skills with a hands-on approach to mentor and coach a team of Project Managers Minimum of Certificate IV in Building and Construction Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the Project Management team, fostering a collaborative and results-focused culture.
Ensure safety compliance, WHS regulations and Australian Standards, conducting regular site audits.
Oversee the scheduling of internal trades to improve project schedules.
Ensure projects meet quality standards, stay within budget, and finish on schedule.
Resolve complaints and act as the primary escalation point, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong connections with insurers, trades, and other key partners.
Manage project budgets, handle variations, and deliver accurate reporting.
