6-month Fixed Term ContractFull-time roleLocation: ParramattaThe opportunity This strategic role will see you provide support and technical information to service teams, delivery of claims service, assist with auditing of claims files and reduce the number of claims.
Provide advice, training and coaching to service teams on technical aspects of claimsEffective communication networks established with both internal and external stakeholdersRespond to client requests in accordance with service standard and negotiate settlements of claims within authority levelsPerform more complex activities which may be beyond the competency or skill of a Case ManagerInterpreting and actioning medical and financial reports and managing and instructing investigations and implementing findings in terms of the overall strategyMaintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes and modificationsYour story so far Must have experience in a similar role within the insurance industryKnowledge and experience in Workers Compensation or CTPStrong influencing skills & a passion for coaching and mentoringProblem solving and analytical skillsConflict resolution & negotiation skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsRelevant tertiary and/or industry qualificationsWorking knowledge of the legal process and protocols (desirable)About QBE We can never really predict what's around the corner, but at QBE we're asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future – helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.
