If you thrive on positive energy, we want to meet you!Job DescriptionBring your passion and feel the energyFixed-term contractFlexible and Hybrid workingThe Technical Business Analyst - Supply Chain Analytics will play a key role in supporting the gathering of Reporting & Analytics requirements, identifying Reporting & Analytics impacts of Pillar transitions, and providing input into design decisions for the Stores and Team Transformation Programs. They will also provide support and input into testing and training/comms.This is a hands-on role that will be required to gather information through stakeholder engagement as well as technical and impact analysis of applications data models and reports on our data platform. This role will partner with the Pillar BAs, acting as the Reporting and Analytics SME, and providing a bridge between the AA BAU product teams and the Transformation program, ensuring that Pillar Analytics & Reporting aligns with our Enterprise Analytics & Reporting Strategy.The Solutions Analyst will have a proven track record of successfully translating between technical and business requirements, understanding the impacts of solutions on business needs/processes and costs, and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders at a variety of levels within the business. The role is a critical conduit in supporting the team throughout the project lifecycle.Sound good? Read on.Get a taste of what this role will do:Taking the direction from the Data - Analytics & Reporting Stream Lead, the Solutions Analyst will collaborate with the SMEs as well as other Business Analysts and/or Technical and Business and Functional Leads to identify and agree on the reporting & analytics business requirements (with the pillar reporting BA).Assists in documenting, reviewing, and supporting approvals of the project scope/requirements in their area (data pipelines, models and reporting to be delivered on the data platform).Participates in workshops and ensures the inclusion of relevant team members from the business to validate the design being implemented.Works with business and technical SMEs, leads the impact assessment, detailed analysis and requirements gathering for management and/or analytical reporting to be delivered on the data platform.Works with the Pillar, Technical and Business Teams to ensure all possible due diligence is carried out to provide confidence of the implementation prior to the go live.Works with the Pillar, Technical and Business Teams to contribute to the change plan, comms and training for relevant reports.There may be a need to travel to stores and/or interstate offices to gather requirements.Supports testing, where required, assisting in creating test scripts, performing testing, and providing potential solutions to resolve errors. Supports system unit and integration testing as required including checking test results and identifying re-work and revalidation after subsequent corrections.Works together with Integration and Data Engineers and System Owners to ensure that data sources within the solution are validated, leading to the successful delivery of data pipelines, modelling and reporting on the analytics platform.QualificationsLet's talk about you:3-5+ years of experience in an insights driven business and/or data analyst role.Advanced proficiency in various data and insight based software, including but not limited to Excel, Google Sheets, database querying and Tableau.Advanced SQL skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organisation.Strong change management and leadership skills to effectively support the implementation's change initiatives through the change team.Demonstrated ability to influence, facilitate, and negotiate effectively.Ability to motivate others, track progress, and collaborate effectively with peers.Sound judgement in decision-making and problem-solving.Able to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.Positive and 'can do' attitude.Strong analytical skills.The benefits are good too!We offer flexible working in every sense.An exclusive discount card for BWS, Dan Murphy's, Woolworths, BIG W and other Endeavour Group brands, including our ALH pubs.Monthly meeting-free days.Your health and wellbeing is your most important asset, and as one of our valued team members, it's our first priority.
