About You
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to serve a crucial function in connecting business needs with technical requirements for a significant travel technology project. A solid understanding of travel technology and reservation systems will be key to thriving in this position.
You will be self-driven and enthusiastic, possessing outstanding organisational skills and the capability to foster strong working relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You will also need to be able to demonstrate the below skills, knowledge & attributes:
High attention to detail High standard for accuracy and detail, and demands that of others Experience with Microsoft SharePoint & Office Suite Enterprise systems and travel technology solutions Professional personal presentation, verbal and written communications Have a Change and Growth mindset Experience with Monday.com beneficial however training will be provided. About The Role
Reporting to the Executive General Manager Revenue & Analytics, this position will be part of our critical system transformation program for Journey Beyond's Rail and Touring divisions.
Key responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather detailed technical requirements Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes using new technology solutions Using data and analysis to help inform business decisions and define optimal processes Creating clear and comprehensive technical and functional documentation and process flows Working closely with Testing Analysts to define test cases and ensure solutions meet business requirements Lead change management processes and implementation support including training and stakeholder communications Support Technical Project Manager on project governance activities Contributing to the ongoing improvement of business analysis processes and methodologies within the organisation Work proactively with the GM of Business Improvement EGM of Growth and EGM Revenue & Analytics to align program activities with the goals of the overall Journey Beyond organisation. Work closely with Data & Analytics and Application Development to align development activities with external software vendors Management of development backlog and prioritising development activities Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc reports and analysis for management and other key internal and external stakeholders You will be required to work with all levels of management, external software providers and consultants to ensure key business processes are defined and development activities are successfully deployed as part of this critical project. As you will be required to work closely with the portfolio of brands some interstate travel will be required.
