We are currently seeking applications for a Technical Business Analyst to join Payroll Reform at The Department of Treasury & Finance for a period of Short-Term Contract.
Remuneration: ASO6 – Salary Range ($98,748 - $104,165 p.a.).
About the opportunity: The Technical Business Analyst, HR Forms Automation reports to the Project Lead, HR Forms Automation, and is responsible for the design, development, and documentation of requirements, of the digital payroll forms and workflows within the HR21 Employee and Manager Self-Service application, in conjunction with the software vendor.
About you As a key member of the Payroll Reform Team, the Technical Business Analyst will undertake detailed discovery, design, and comprehensive testing activities to ensure that the digital forms, automation functionality and associated business processes deliver the desired outcome.
To be successful you will be:
Demonstrated experience with system functionality design, including developing business requirements documents, interpreting specifications, and identifying deficiencies and solutions. Proven ability to impart information and explain concepts to a wide audience, including presenting workshops and education sessions to groups. Demonstrated experience working in a HR and/or payroll environment and excellent knowledge of HR/Payroll processes and procedures in a complex environment. Strong communication skills (verbally and in writing) including the ability to liaise and negotiate with a range of stakeholders to facilitate their cooperation and support in the achievement of objectives. Demonstrated experience to analyse problems, interpret complex data and recommend practical and efficient solutions. High level of attention to detail with the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure with the ability to be innovative and the capacity to assist in identifying and implementing initiatives to improve efficiency and/or service quality About us At the Department of Treasury and Finance we work together to ensure South Australia is a thriving, prosperous state now and into the future. The Payroll Reform team manage and coordinate the implementation of major payroll projects driven by legislation change, public sector initiatives and changes to the CHRIS Human Resource Management System (CHRIS 21 / HR21 (Employee and Manager Self Service)), such as system upgrades and the development of functionality enhancements.
