Technical Business Analyst

Drive a high-impact digital project improving access to information and services for NSW residents. As a Technical Business Analyst, you'll design and develop solutions that meet diverse stakeholder needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams for project success.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Requirements Sessions: Gather and define project requirements, working with development teams and SMEs.Set Standards: Collaborate with BAs, architects, and developers to establish best practices.Functional Design: Create high-level functional designs that align with business goals.Platform Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies for Pega platform requirements and ensure alignment with features.Workshop Facilitation: Lead design discussions with stakeholders for effective system integration.Agile Project Support: Assist the delivery manager in managing project scope, timing, and risks.Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the functional backlog, aligning stakeholders.Risk and Testing: Identify project risks, contribute to testing strategies, and ensure alignment with requirements.Issue Escalation: Communicate any resource or technical roadblocks to the delivery manager.About YouPrevious relevant experience working for Government Departments.3-5+ years experience as a Business Analyst.Strong experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.Proficiency with or exposure to Pega systems (v8+) is highly desirable.Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with high attention to detail.
