Randstad Digital is currently looking for a fantastic Technical Business Analyst to join their team for a 12-month contract, based in Brisbane's North. This role is responsible for defining current to future state processes and services, detailed business and technical requirements, and application migration planning between the current legacy Oracle on-premise environment to the future state Azure hosted ArcGIS environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements. Evaluate and prioritise requirements based on business goals and objectives. Identify gaps and potential risks in requirements. Map current and future state business processes. Create clear and detailed documentation, including but not limited to, business requirements documents (BRD), functional and non-functional specifications, traceability matrix, and use cases. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa. Analyse and interpret data to support decision-making. Define data requirements and collaborate with data analysts and data scientists as needed. Support the development of detailed plans (as required) for the new system implementations, system rationalisation tasks, and data migration (including data cleansing, mapping, and transformation) activities. Support the Change Manager in creating communication plans, training, and engagement strategies. Contribute by identifying potential risks associated with business processes, system requirements, and data migration. Collaborate with the testing team to assist them in developing test cases based on requirements. Participate in the validation of delivered solutions against specified requirements. Necessary Skills:
Experience in process analysis and ideally, with the analysis and design of solutions related to Azure. Experience in ArcGIS for geospatial solutions or projects will be a bonus. Understanding of the technical requirements and constraints of IT systems, such as software architectures, databases, and data modeling. Data Analysis: Proficient in data analysis techniques and tools, and able to work with SQL and data modelling. Ability to contribute to the design of IT systems and architectures, ensuring they meet the business requirements. Skilled in translating business needs into detailed technical specifications that developers and IT professionals can implement.
