Contribute to a high-quality team at 360biolabs complying with relevant standards, regulatory guidelines and SOPs.Responsibility AreasThe key responsibility areas (KRAs) are major outputs for which the position is responsible and not a comprehensive statement of all position activities.SafetyEnsure the safe and efficient conduct of laboratory activities.Ensure compliance to relevant internal processes and statutory requirements.Team WorkMaintain high levels of communication with colleagues and productive relationships with service providers and other partners.AccreditationAdhere to ISO/IEC 17025, OECD Principles of GLP, GCLP Principles, 360biolabs' Quality Management System, and other requirements as per NATA Accreditation and regulatory guidelines.General Duties and Laboratory WorkMaintain the chemistry laboratory in an efficient and well-organised manner.Ensure laboratory equipment is cleaned, maintained and calibrated as required according to relevant SOPs and daily maintenance schedules and best practices for mass spectrometer systems.Order and maintain consumable supplies for the laboratories.Prepare solutions, buffers and reagents for use in a variety of assays.Assist with the preparation of calibrators, quality controls and clinical samples.Maintain and update equipment service and calibration records in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).Assist with the receipt of goods and reagents and review and complete relevant documentation associated with them, and store correctly.May assist with the coordination of reagent and goods shipments.Data Analysis, Reporting and Document WorkReview policies, SOPs, systems and procedures to assure the quality and integrity of service offerings at 360biolabs.Maintain records (LIMS, database and paper) to levels consistent with relevant standards and industry expectations.Professional DevelopmentAttend meetings and training associated with and the work of 360biolabs.Key Selection CriteriaTertiary education in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience (Essential).Experience/ Knowledge/ AttributesExperience working in a quality-controlled environment preferably an accredited facility following ISO/IEC 17025, GLP or similar quality systems (Essential).Excellent organisational and time-management skills (Essential).Ability to work as part of a team.Good communication skills and willingness to learn (Essential).Experience in handling clinical samples etc. (Essential).Experience with use of a Lab Information Management System (LIMS) (Desirable).High motivation and enthusiasm for biomedical research (Desirable).Apply now if you have what it takes to join our team!360biolabs is a flexible, equal opportunity employer looking for committed and like-minded people to join us.
