About the Role As a Technical Assessment Specialist , you will be at the heart of maintaining our assessment platform designed for technical skill evaluations. Leveraging Compass, a third-party platform from PetroSkills, you'll enable employees to navigate their competency levels within the technical framework and document their insights and evidence. Collaborating closely with Functional Leaders (FLs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the system's setup requirements to align with the platform's broader capabilities. Your expertise will not only enhance data integrity but also ensure that the assessment platform remains robust and responsive, ultimately empowering our technical communities to thrive.
Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
System Expertise - Ensure the third-party assessment platform (Compass) is set up to meet current business needs and ensure best user experience. Maintain expert level knowledge of the system functionality to support business requests. Work with communities to update skills, skill maps, Job level requirements, participants and assessors on the platform as part of a formal review. Ensure effective deployment and maintenance of CMAPS and JLRs based on business requirements for the Compass Assessment platform. Able to identify the root cause of problems and implement effective long-term solutions. Stakeholder Engagement - This role works closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders and is required to keep abreast of changes on the platform, maintain their system expertise and perform system upgrades as required. This role will work with business stakeholders to ensure end users gain timely access and instructions to commence their self-assessments. Platform Deployment - Provide set up advice and supporting documentation to the FLs and new communities. Provide supporting documentation for end users and assessors to ensure users can access their profile when they need it and ensure the right people sit in the right teams. Maintain reference documentation for individuals and leaders to self-service queries. Reporting - Enable timely business reporting as required to meet business requirements. Facilitate access to correct reports or the flow of data from Assessment platform to Technical Reporting dashboards as required. About You We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record as an LMS or Systems Administrator, ideally with experience managing the Compass Assessment platform (PetroSkills) or SAP SuccessFactors (LMS) in a global organisation. Your ability to dive deep into issues and uncover root causes will be crucial for delivering long-term solutions that enhance our complex assessment platform.
With a strong user experience mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement, you'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and drive initiatives forward. Your analytical to problem-solving, combined with exceptional multitasking skills, will enable you to navigate competing priorities effectively. Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, including MSTeams, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, will further empower you to consolidate information and define the scope of improvement initiatives, ensuring our assessment platform operates at its best.
