About the role As the lead Business Analyst on the UNE CourseLoop Team, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing technology solutions that significantly improve the efficiency of UNE's course and unit management services.
This role is crucial for driving innovation and optimizing processes within the academic framework at UNE.
About you To be successful in this role, you will have: · I mplementation Leadership: Lead and coordinate the deployment of the CourseLoop system and associated technologies to automate and improve business processes related to course and unit development, approval and publication.
· Stakeholder Engagement & Service Delivery: Build strong relationships with the vendor and UNE stakeholders to align business processes, people, policies, and systems for the effective implementation of the Curriculum Management system, driving efficiencies and added value.
· Workshop Coordination: Facilitate and support workshop activities and project meetings throughout the Planning, Scoping, Design, and Testing phases, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are engaged and contributing to the system design and implementation.
· Project Management: Collaborate with the Manager of Student Systems to plan and advance the implementation of curriculum-related enhancements.
This includes developing and updating project plans, timelines, structures, implementation strategies, documentation, reporting, and quality assurance processes.
· System Integration: Work closely with the Technology and Digital Services (TDS) team to ensure that the Curriculum Management solution integrates seamlessly with UNE's existing systems, including the Student Management System, Learning Management System, Business Intelligence and Reporting, Timetabling, and UNE's website and publication platforms.
· Data Management: Oversee the complexity of the curriculum structure and data design within the Curriculum Management solution.
Address data quality issues and ensure that the current course and unit profiles are accurately defined and constructed, minimizing manual effort and normalizing data for downstream systems.
· Performance Analysis and Improvement: Conduct proactive analysis of key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in Curriculum Management processes and associated policies.
Establish reporting capabilities to produce timely reports that support service improvement and manage vendor support, incidents, and bugs in collaboration with the CourseLoop System Support Coordinator.
· People Management: Supervision of the CourseLoop System Support Coordinator and project staff as needed.
