Ongoing Career Progression Full-Time Our client's mission is to enhance the cyber resilience of small businesses and protect them from cyber threats.
As a Technical Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in providing critical support and solutions to our clients, helping them navigate and mitigate cyber risks.
Position: Technical Advisor Location: University of Queensland, St Lucia Campus.
On-site.
Eligibility: Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Hours: Flexible between Monday to Friday, 7 am to 7 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 12 pm AEST.
Anticipated hours: 16-20 hours per week, with potential fluctuations due to business needs or exam periods.
Start Date: 6th January 2025 - ongoing (potential for career progression) Position Type: Casual Full training provided over 6 weeks!

As a Technical Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in providing critical support and solutions to our clients, helping them navigate and mitigate cyber risks.
As a Technical Advisor, your primary responsibilities will include: Engage professionally and empathetically with clients, addressing their needs through various communication channels Develop and maintain technical proficiency in cyber security across diverse technologies and operating systems.
Provide hands-on assistance to improve clients' technical resilience across various devices and operating systems Evaluating cyber resilience maturity and risks and referring complex cases to specialists if needed About you: Ideal candidates would be studying a relevant degree.
You will also have: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including engaging people calmly and professionally who are under severe stress Empathetic, conflict management and resolution skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Ability to develop and maintain an excellent understanding of application security configurations and features across diverse email and browser applications as well as social media accounts Successful candidate's will be required to undergo a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
