You will play a crucial role in utilising your agronomic knowledge to provide sales support and bridge the gap between their sales team, technical teams, and clients to ensure optimal agricultural outcomes using their irrigation technology.Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will provide professional agronomic support to assist their sales team in achieving their annual goals and help their clients and technical teams achieve superior agriculture outcomes. The incumbent in this role will be key in emphasizing the agronomic advantages of our client's irrigation system to growers and other clients, whilst ensuring clear communication and explanation of the program to clients.Your duties will include (but not be limited to) the following:Accompany or independently visit farms to highlight the agronomic advantages of our client's irrigation system and Decision Support SystemCollaborate with the Head Quarter's agronomy team to design the seasonal program for Fertigation, Irrigation, and Chemical Treatment (FIT) for all Australian projectsRegularly visit farms to oversee the performance of the system, assess plant health, and provide guidance to clients and their teamsConduct daily evaluations of plant health using the Decision Support System. Collect relevant pre-season data for FIT, including fertilizer quantities, weather predictions, and other related dataGenerate weekly updates on each project, including applied irrigation and fertigation volumes, as well as details on plant healthEstablish and nurture relationships with industry stakeholders, including academic researchers, distributors, corporate agriculturalists, and affiliated associations to gain insights into emerging trends and opportunitiesThis role is suitable for someone based in either Toowoomba, QLD or Narrabri, Moree, Dubbo, Narromine (or similar areas) in Regional NSW.About YouOur ideal candidate will be driven, customer-focused, with exceptional service abilities.
