We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Account Manager to join our Managed Services Team. This role requires someone who takes pleasure in exceeding client expectations and possesses the technical expertise to comprehend a customer's technical challenges. The role entails not only technical proficiency but also a keen ability to engage with clients, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring a seamless client experience.
About the role:
The TAM acts as the main point of contact for Advanced and Enterprise customers and a point of escalation for Standard customers. The TAM proactively identifies and addresses any technical or strategic issues that may arise, as well as working closely with the customers to understand their needs and goals.
Reporting to the Managed Services Manager, you will:
Manage relationships, reporting and prioritising requests with Managed Services clients. Drive utilisation for Managed Services with clients by increasing booked work in the queue. Facilitate onboarding of Managed Services clients. Work closely with Support Engineers and other teams to ensure high delivery of service and client support. Contribute to continual process and system improvements. Support escalation and issue resolution for Managed Services clients. Contribute to the development of new and improved service offerings and management of company's CRM. Support Sales and other staff on lead calls for technical advisory and the Managed Services offering. Build an understanding of each client's business and processes as it relates to the systems we support. Identify opportunities for clients to move up the Managed Services value chain and assist in a pre-sales capacity. About you:
As an ideal candidate for the Technical Account Manager role -
You must thrive in client-facing environments and excel at building lasting relationships with clients. Have a strong background in both technical expertise and interpersonal skills. Communicate effectively to clients with varying levels of technical ability. Be able to think quickly and deliver autonomously. Be highly motivated and resilient. Knowledgeable on modern cloud infrastructure. Have experience working with the Atlassian tools, in particular, Jira (desirable - if not we'll train you). Have a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science (or other technical field) or equivalent professional experience. Have the right to work full-time in Australia.
