About the Role:
We're seeking a talented Tech Lead and Senior (Full-Stack) Developer to join our team. You will collaborate and innovate with our Product Team on new products and platform features and liaise with our Chief Technology Officer to ensure that the software delivered is of exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance front-end applications and backend services for new and existing Oqea products using cutting-edge technologies.
Lead technical design and architecture discussions to create innovative solutions to complex problems. Mentor team members and advocate for best practices.
Experiment with and evaluate various AI/ML technologies to solve complex problems. Develop prototypes and proofs of concept leveraging natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and other leading-edge AI capabilities.
Provide hands-on technical leadership to a team of developers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing. Foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
Drive all phases of agile development from conception to production, emphasizing automated testing, security, and maintainability. Champion DevOps practices across the organization.
Continuously improve software quality and reliability through modern processes, tools, and frameworks. Enforce robust code standards, testing, and security controls.
Stay on the leading edge of industry trends and emerging technologies. Evaluate new languages, frameworks, and methodologies and make recommendations for adoption.
Promote a culture of learning and innovation. Contribute to design discussions, troubleshoot issues, and solve complex problems creatively.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Mastery of Nuxt, NestJS, and other leading JS technologies. Experience with PHP, Python and .NET is beneficial.
Skilled at designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs. Knowledge of API best practices and standards.
Expertise with relational databases, including complex schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Extensive experience deploying to and managing cloud architectures, especially Microsoft Azure. Deep understanding of microservices.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI services, including Azure AI /ML Studios, Azure AI Search, Semantic Kernel, etc.
Champion of CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and other DevOps practices. GitHub actions experience a bonus.
Agile mastery with a focus on delivering rapid value. Comfortable coaching and directing other developers in the team.
Experience in the healthcare domain, implementing industry-compliant solutions a plus. FHIR implementation experience is a bonus.
Passionate about staying on top of emerging technologies and best practices.
