ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a skilled Microsoft .NET Consultant to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining applications using .NET technologies to improve business operations (with a focus on automation) and deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

This role can be based anywhere in Australia.

Responsibilities Lead the design and development of solutions using .NET technologies Make architectural and design decisions using established technical standards Peer review code and provide constructive feedback Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks Look for process efficiencies and automation opportunities Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements, features, and functionality Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancement in existing systems and platforms Ensure best practices and compliance with development and security standards Participate in technical design reviews and documentation Mentor and coach junior developers Collaborate with other business units (e.g., Cloud Operations) Support agile development practices and processes YOUR EXPERIENCE 5+ years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET Strong expertise in:ASP.NET Core/MVC, Blazor Entity Framework Core SQL Server and T-SQL RESTful API design and implementation Azure cloud services Git version control Proficiency in:HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) CI/CD pipelines Test-driven development (TDD) Design patterns and SOLID principles Experience with:Microservices architecture Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB) Automation RPA Development (desired) Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders Self-motivated with ability to work independently Strong project management and organizational skills Relevant industry certifications WHAT CAN WE OFFER YOU As part of our team, you'll be able to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
