We are seeking a motivated Team Member to join our Tree Management team at Ventia on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Mornington Peninsula Shire in preserving the health, safety, and beauty of its trees and green spaces.

Role Description: As a Team Member in Tree Management at Ventia, you will be actively involved in delivering essential tree pruning and maintenance services that directly support the Shire's objectives.
Your primary focus will be on: Maintenance Activities: Contribute to a range of tree maintenance tasks, including electrical line clearance, area vegetation management, and other activities that ensure the health and vitality of the Shire's trees and green spaces.
Pruning and Removals: Work to support the community responding to pruning requests and tree removals.
Storm Response: Assist to support Shire in responding to storm-damaged trees, prioritizing public safety and minimizing property damage through efficient and effective tree clearance and removal.
Experience and Qualifications: Tree Experience: 3+ years of experience in tree management or a related field.
Equipment Operation: Experience in the operation of plant and equipment (EWPs, Trucks, Chippers, Stump Grinders) and minor tools and equipment (chainsaws, pole saws, brush cutters, blowers).
Certifications: Work Place First Aid, Road Traffic Control, EWP, Working at Heights, and Chainsaw operation are desirable but can be gained during employment.
Licenses: Current Medium Rigid/Heavy Rigid Truck License (MR/HR) is desirable but can be gained during employment.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members, supervisors.
Physical Fitness: The ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments.
