Team Member - Contact Centre - Contractor How will I help?
Our Merchant Support Team is seeking Team Members like you!
You will play an integral role in fostering a cohesive team environment and building strong relationships across different teams and with merchant customers of Westpac.
You will actively contribute ideas, share best practices, and collaborate to meet challenges and deliver a great customer experience to our merchant customers.
As Merchant Support Team Member, your role will entail: Working with a call centre environment you will assist our Merchant customers with any support they need.
Contribute to building a customer-centric culture and delivering a superior end-to-end support process.
Administrative tasks e.g.
data entry.
Maintain a high standard of customer service by phone and email, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer needs.
Foster strong relationships across teams, sharing best practices and collaborating to enhance the customer experience.
This role plays a crucial part in Westpac's vision to be a world-class service company.

What do I need?
To excel in this role, the following experience is required: Strong customer service skills, with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
Contact/Call centre experience is desirable but not essential  Experience providing administrative support.
Banking and Finance knowledge and experience (Desirable).
Problem-solving skills to address customer needs effectively.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written) and ability to influence.
