A little about the role Our Team Manager role is to take a high-profile leadership role in the delivery of foster care in the South West.
You will provide appropriate levels of line management, supervision, support and training to the team.You will take lead responsibility in the provision of high quality, therapeutic, child safe and culturally responsive foster care.You will undertake foster carer recruitment and assessment in conjunction with the Team Manager Recruitment and Panel.You will have an active management presence in the region with Key Assets staff, the Department of Communities, and other agencies.You will support in developing and managing partnerships between Key Assets and local Aboriginal Community Controlled Agencies.The base salary for this position is $106,389.92 – $111,092.80 /annum (based on 1.0 FTE) + super + vehicle & fuel card + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum.
This position is a part time (0.8 FTE) ongoing role.
About you You will have substantial experience in a similar management role within the social and community services sector with evidence of successful team development and growth.
You will also come with:
A Social Work qualification as recognized by the Australian Association of Social Workers or equivalent body.A minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker in a children and family setting of which two years must have been gained working in child protection and/or out of home care.Tenacious, diligent and resilient qualities with the ability to adopt a creative approach to problem solving in a complex, culturally sensitive environment.My Key Assets The health and wellbeing of our people is at the core of our employee and client experience.
