How will I help?
This role exists to manage and lead Customer Due Diligence Team within Financial Crime Surveillance that deliver compliance and customer outcomes across all Westpac Group brands.
Customer Due Diligence Team conducts review on multiple triggers as required by the group standards.
Key to this role's success is being proficient and understanding the life cycle of review from trigger level to customer decision level.
The role also requires managing performance and implementing capability development strategies for Team Members.
The Team Manager ensures team members are following Westpac Group protocol, policies and procedures when completing all tasks, whilst also identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
The Team Manager plays an integral role in the facilitation and development of a cohesive team environment and is responsible for ensuring the effective management of all business processes, people, risks and dependencies across the team What's in it for me?

What do I need?
Experience and knowledge across Anti Money Laundering / Counter Terrorism Finance & Sanctions Operations Understanding of overall business processes, support systems and tools – including AOM practices People management experience Ability to utilise business metrics to manage operations and drive efficiency Knowledge and application of compliance and legislative requirements Understanding and applying the principles of risk management What's it like to work there?
